July / Summer Wedding
I had the honor of shooting a wedding a few weeks ago. I love outdoor ceremonies that let nature create a beautiful backdrop. From thistle and other wildflowers blooming, to a bright blue sky leading into a classic Oklahoma sunset, it was quite a pretty wedding!
June / Erin, the star queen.
I cut the moon in half
And stuck a piece through my hair
It made the back of my head glow
Golden yellow and then I took
Ten stars on sticks
And placed them in my small metal
Bucket and I gave the other
Half of the moon to you
Ooh, so you wouldn't
Forget me while I'm gone

Dreaming of some good memories, good trips, and more days and nights spent outside in beautiful weather. Maybe these pictures will help you too if you're feeling the same way. But since this weather isn't going anywhere for now, (well, maybe it is, if you also live in the finicky midwest) here's a recipe you should definitely give a try today to match the mood....I did.
Biscuits & Mushroom Gravy (vegan) from Gimme some Oven // It takes no time at all and tastes wonderful without feeling too heavy. I really think the rosemary is what makes this (good thing I have an endless supply at my house). Enjoy while listening to Chopin and a good cup of coffee (but not too good, because you're saving up for that amazing trip...)
