This moment in the year is so beautiful- loads of golden late summer wildflowers matching the glow of sunset. Warm summer evening with a hint of fall in the air- I love it. Riley is a landscape designer, so he framed the trip to this location as that he needed to meet a client to consult. Caroline was truly so surprised! So thankful to photograph this engagement for such a sweet couple.

Summer Proposal at High Hampton Inn in Cashiers, NC

Sharing some photos from Ricky’s proposal to Camryn last summer at High Hampton Inn in Cashiers, NC. Ricky wanted to go with a more secluded setting for the proposal moment so we decided on the “secret” dock just below the back lawn, looking out onto the lake and Rock Mountain. It’s a gorgeous spot for a summer proposal and we had the space all to ourselves. Floressence create a seriously stunning arrangement for the dock with such a unique summery color palette that popped against the lake.
