Caleb & Angela

Shot some photos of my friends, Caleb and Angela, a few weeks ago. We were going to do dinner after taking photos, so we show up, and they’re cooking salmon by the fire….yeah, they’re those kind of people. It’s great. I love cooking with them and the flavor/texture combinations they come up with. They bought the salmon at Urban Agrarian and used the Finnish ‘Loimulohi’ method of cooking it on a cedar plank propped up near the fire. Soo good and a lovely addition to the shoot!

Studio Shoot

I recently got to take some photos for my best Texas gal, Diana Barns, at her studio. We studied design together in college, but the last couple of years, she’s become a full time ceramic artist. She works out of her little garage studio in Denton, Texas making beautiful, functional pieces as well as teaching others how to throw on a wheel. I have a couple bowls and tumblers of hers, and my husband and I love them! They’re beautiful pieces that hold up to the test of daily use. You can see for yourself here. It was super fun to take photos of someone really in their element doing something they love yadayadayada. Enjoy.
